AIdentifyAGE International Seminar

The AIdentifyAGE International Seminar will bring together experts in forensic odontology, artificial intelligence, and biomedical sciences to discuss current advances in AI-assisted dental age estimation, data science, and digital transformation in forensic medicine.

This event is organized by the Dental Forensic Sciences Research Group (FORENSEMED), integrated in the Oral and Biomedical Sciences Research Unit (UICOB) at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Lisbon, and partially financed by FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia under project UIDB/00006/2025 and by the FCT project 2024.07444.IACDC (AIdentifyAGE), funded through Portugal’s Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).

Participation is free of charge, but registration is required.

The XVI Annual Meeting of SOFIA will take place in Asunción, Paraguay, gathering forensic odontologists, medical and legal professionals, and researchers from across Ibero-America.
The event includes the I Congress of Medical-Dental Legislation and Forensic Sciences (USCA) and is held under the accredited patronage of IOFOS.

This international congress will feature plenary sessions, scientific presentations, and posters addressing advances in forensic odontology, medico-legal practice, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Pre-Congress: 12 November 2025
Main Congress: 13–14 November 2025
